Should I Wear a Face Mask?
The American Lung Association Chief Medical Officer; Dr. Albert Rizzo in a statement made last week:
People that wear a mask at the least, give some level of protection from respiratory vapor or droplets that are exhaled while breathing and especially when an individual sneezes or coughs in the near surroundings. The virus droplets exhaled by individuals, based on early reporting can live in the droplets of air for up to 3 hours. A face mask covering an individual's face can and will help prohibit unwanted droplets from being expelled into the air around us and therefore protecting others in our immediate presence and individuals that could come into contact with air expelled by others even after you have left the room or area. Our precision-made reusable and washable face mask is a great alternative to a commercial non-approved or homemade mask.
